We will start walking on the mountain roads that take us to the "Los Acuáticos" community, an uninhabited place with spectacular views at the top of the mountain. Unique place to enjoy the sunrise, have a cup of Cuban black coffee or a natural juice of the fruits grown on this farm. Learn more about the place's history, traditions, and customs. We will visit an estate where the tobacco leaf and other plantations are grown according to season. We’ll begin the day by meeting in my house where you will be fitted for all the necessary climbing equipment and then we will take a short hike (10 mins) to the mountains. Once at the climbing site we will begin with a short safety demonstration and we’ll choose some routes to climb that will be appropriate for everyone. Beginners or not, everyone will have the chance to climb several routes to the top of a mogote, or mountain. From there, you can pause to take in the beautiful view of Viñales Valley. We’ll climb as many routes as you wish during our time together. After a full day of adventure, we can pass by a local farm to grab some lunch or enjoy fresh juice or a mojito. Other things to note Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear. Bring a bottle of water, a snack, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
