Rest in a self contained cottage in Bathurst. It's located next to the house originally built around 1950's (owner not occupied). A stylish cottage with kitchen area, bathroom with a washing machine and a dryer, a queen sized bed, and even a sofa bed (which is normally a sofa, you can also use it as a double sized bed). Pls let us know in advance if you need to use it, we will get it ready for you. Off-street parking. 1 block to a cafe, a few minutes drive to shops, Bathurst Golf Club and CSU.

When you drive through the gates of 'Tara' you immediately relax taking in the beautiful garden and country side of this 3 acre garden. 'The Cottage' is self contained with a country feel outside and a contemporary design indoors. The historical village of Rockley 5 mins away is where Matt Moran celebrity chef bought the Rockley Pub in 2021. Matt has been connected to this area with the family farm 20ks down the road for a long time. The food is amazing with Matt often at the pub on weekends.

A comfortable, clean, bright, cottage. One of two cottages on the property. Very comfy beds. The Cottage has beautiful garden and paddock outlooks from front and rear. Cosy and cared for. 10 kilometres from the centre of Bathurst. A BBQ on the verandah, amazing night sky. Reverse cycle A/C and a glass fronted wood fire. ( Bring your own wood.) kindling, matches, paper provided in the winter months. Shower over deep claw foot bath. Ready from 3pm for arrivals. 11am check out.

The cottage is a 5 minute stroll (i.e 3 city blocks) to the city centre including cafes, shops, pubs, clubs, cinema, parks and the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC). We have a high chair, change table and cot on request. Pets are welcome at Maeve’s Cottage for an additional fee.
