District, from there we’ll walk approximately 30 minutes to the Ruin Pub district where we are going to visit many bars. Throughout our walk to the bars I’m going to talk about various topics related to Hungary,including an introduction to Budapest, culture, recent history & few fascinating details about the Jewish district as well. Our tour includes a visit of the 3–4 best ruin pubs (depending on the weather/season/day). I’ll explain the history in steps, which led to this state of these ruin buildings. I promise you’ll love these surreal pubs which are nothing like you have ever seen before ;)The bars are all different interpretations & decor of similar aged buildings from the end of the 19th Century. In one of the pubs you will taste a surprise shot which has a very interesting story behind.. :)Throughout the whole experience you are more than welcome to ask me to take your photos as my first profession is Photography. :) Also You may tag the wall in one of the bars. Get ready to step back in time and take a stroll in the historical core of Buda with a historian. Buda Castle is arguably the most important historical site of Hungary which is probably the best location to learn about the history of Hungary and Hungarian people. You will walk through winding alleys and experience breathtaking views from the ramparts. Be ready for fascinating historical stories of Buda Castle from the Middle Ages to World War II. Hungarian history will come alive in front of you in the presentation of history buffs. On this 3-hour long tour you'll get to know all of the important historical sites of Buda Castle. Other things to note If it rains, please bring an umbrella or rain jacket as the walk is mostly outside. In case of rain we will slightly modify the itinerary to include more indoors locations.

We created this tour to show a very unique place for those who are ready to make efforts off the beaten track! We will visit a natural labyrinth system – a 3 dimensional playground, where we will often have to clamber up steep walls and creep through narrow passages. Prepare yourself for something active! - We will meet up near the cave (30-45 minutes from the city by bus, still in the residential Budapest) - You can change your clothes at the changing room, and we will give you the necessary equipment. - We will spend 2,5-3 hours under the ground. We will discover a small part of a 30 km long multi-level labyrinth system. As the cave is practically a maze with a network of passages, we can always find the path which fits your level of fitness. In means that we can do a relatively easy tour (still challenging), or an „adrenaline-pumping” tour - it’s up to you! - The tour is very interactive with a friendly atmosphere and English-speaking expert hosts. - It’s a perfect occasion to meet new people and maybe make new frindships - as there will be situations where cooperation makes your way easier. - After the tour you can chill at the moody beer terrace of the cave. Other things to note This is NOT an outdoor experience, it doesn't depend on the weather. Age limit: 10-55 years. No prior experience of caving needed. During our 1-1,5 hour long tour (based on guest count and our speed :) ), we will take photos all around the Fisherman's Bastion and some nearby locations. I will share some interesting stories as we walk between the venues, but don't worry, it won't be like a history class :) Don't worry either if you haven't been photographed before, it's going to be great, I'm very easygoing! About our shooting: **Same day delivery for all the 400+ photos taken and 20+ edited pictures which are retouched and color corrected** There is no place as beautiful as the Buda Castle and the Fisherman's Bastion. As a local resident I know all the buildings and all the hidden gems of the area. I know how beautiful can be a misty coverted path in the morning hours and when the sun dissapears behind the hills of Buda. If you want to be captured among this beautiful historic sites with the stunning backdrop of Pest we are a match. Family and kid's portraits are an option too and I have a different route where we can take photos of the kids in a Castle themed playground. Bring your favourite outfits as we will hit a few spots during our session so you will get the most out of the experience. The final images are delivered 8-10 hours after the shoot ends.

I'm a gastronomy journalist and an everyday foodie myself, born and raised in Budapest, who's ready to show you the most typical, yet extraordinary flavours of Hungary. On this tasting tour, we will try some local delicacies at typical local places that we also go to and you'll get the chance to try food, drinks, and delicacies that are parts of our daily lives while getting local insight into the food and general culture from the personal and professional perspective as well. Warning: you won't leave hungry (for culture, history or food:)), so try to arrive with an empty stomach!:) On the food tour, you will get the chance to try the local markets with tastings of local delicacies, soups, snacks, sweets, local wine etc. We will explore the main market, taste meat and pastries, learn and experience what is the most popular way to eat zsíroskenyér or goulash, explore what is "Disznótoros" and try typical cakes including chimney cake and "The Cake of the Year". From the meeting point, we will get into my van and I will take you up to Castle Hill. We will visit the famous sights like the Fishermen's Bastion which offers great photo options and you will see other treasures of the Castle area like the Matthias Church and the Holy Trinity Square. We will visit those areas which offer amazing views so bring your smartphone, please. The Castle area is a "must-see" in Budapest but during the day it is too busy. I do offer this tour in the evening for those who prefer to see these amazing sights without crowds. River cruise guests are welcome too as their big buses are not allowed to park in the area and an evening walk in Castle Hill is a kind of special experience. You will learn a lot about the history of Budapest from a professional licensed local guide and there are generally 4 people in the group so all in a relaxed atmosphere. After the tour, the guide and driver will give you a FREE ride back to the city to your accommodation or your cruise ship.

Home made pasta is not only an Italian tradition. Hungarian families in the countryside also made their own pasta using it for delicious dishes: the amazing Hungarian meat soup is made with vermicelli (cérnametélt) and the easy Hungarian pasta with potato and onion is made with a typical quadratic shape pasta. If you would like to learn more about Hungarian pasta, get to know how to knead, how to shape, join my workshop and I will show you! We are going to knead pasta dough using flour and eggs then I will show you typical Hungarian shapes. You will learn how to use pasta machine as well. From the pasta dough we are going to shape different variations: vermicelli, tagliatelle and a square pasta for our dinner. After the shaping, I will show how to cook Hungarian potato and onion pasta, which will be served with pickles (the meal is vegetarian). This nice traditional food will be your light dinner. The other shape you made, you can bring to home. Hungarian cuisine is more than Goulash or Chicken Paprikash, if you would like to learn it from a local girl, don't hesitate to join my workshop. We will travel to Etyek wine region and during the ride we'll give a short introduction about this history of Hungary and our 600 years old wine tradition. In the wine region we'll visit 3 vineries, where you will meet with the local winemakers and wine cellar owners. At each location your will taste 4 glasses of different local wines, up to 12 glasses total for whole program. During the tastings you will learn a lot about the traditional and the modern ways of wine making and the modern history of the wine region. As this is an interactive experience, you will have lot's of opportunities to ask questions and to get familiar with our friends in the region. At the last winery our host we will prepare a home cooked meal for your team. This is a 3 course meal with cold starter, a traditional Hungarian dish as main meal and some dessert. After the program we take you back to Budapest. Other things to note A warm sweater is recommended because the wine cellar temperature is 12 Degrees Celsius even at the hottest summer day.
