Close to the historic towns of Tavistock,Brentor and Lydford. On the boundary of Dartmoor National Park; perfect for walkers, horseriders, cyclists and those looking to relax. Easy reach to Cornwall and north coast. We welcome dogs with manners as we have chickens, cats and a horse on site. A modern very spacious bungalow which will easily accommodate 4. 1 bedroom with a double bed, and living space with a double bed settee, and a Z bed if required. Fully fitted kitchen. Wi-Fi included.

A little unique gem full of character to enjoy

The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

Our recently refurbished bungalow is within 5 minutes walk of Whitchurch Down and the vast expanse of Dartmoor. We are a 20-minute walk into Tavistock or 5 minutes by bus/car. There's a dog shower so should your best friend get muddy whilst on the moor, it is easy to get them clean! There is fast broadband available and smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom. There is a local pub and village shop within 5 minutes walk.
