Cook healthy ramen & gyoza at home vegan/halal available
Ramen and gyoza are some of the most popular foods in Japan, not only for natives, but for tourists as well. But sometimes these foods can be too heavy or not vegan- and halal-friendly. I think everyone should have a chance to enjoy Japanese cuisine, so I developed a healthy recipe compatible with vegan and halal diets. After meeting at Cora Coffee I, we'll move to my private kitchen. We'll start out our class with a lecture about Japanese cuisine and lifestyle. Then we'll start cooking two different kinds of ramen broth, along with ramen and gyoza made from all-natural ingredients and seasonings, using my original recipe, which is healthy and easy to recreate at home. Home cooking is not only centered on the happiness and health of the family, but is also nourishing and easy to prepare. Come experience the power of this tradition. Experience is the best souvenir. Other things to note All you need to bring is your appetite. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you wish during the class. Let me know of any dietary restrictions in advance.
Learn Kawaii wagashi making over matcha near Nara deer park
I invite you to enter my atelier normally not accessible. A local fluent translator will help me in explaining details about wagashi ingredients, motifs, and technique! First you will learn about basic ingredients, materials and tools for making wagashi using visual chart, and I will demonstrate the basic skills step by step for you to follow and do the same way by modelling, moulding, and shaping your own Japanese sweet. You can learn not only the basic skills of making, but also the beauty of Japanese traditional colours used and how I express seasons in the design of the "sweets". Don't worry, you can take your time at your own pace, and focus on getting inspiration and enjoying the making! When some difficult techniques needed, of course I will help you. :-) Also, you can ask me to take photos of your making as you have to keep your hands clean! Making will be about 40 minutes, and when finished, you will have a matcha tea time to taste your own wagashi. We can pack the remaining wagashi to go,of course! Ingredients are red beans(azuki), white kidney beans, sugar, yam potato, agar, and edible colors from vegetables and plants. Sometimes I may use egg yolk or rice powder, which I can avoid if you ask me in advance. (More than 15minutes late arrival may be treated as cancelled or subject to additional charges.)
Paddle through city to explore shogun's osaka castle
Let’s enjoy Osaka while paddling the waterway in a kayak. You'll discover new attractive viewpoints of the city that you've never seen before from land. You'll also enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Osaka Castle at sunset sometimes if you choose the later time activity and if the weather is good enough. During cherry blossom season, you'll be able to enjoy the cherry blossom scenery from both banks. We meet at the east exit of sakuranomiya station. Then it takes around 5mins to a soft sand beach . After a short explanation of the kayak basics and the boat traffic rules of the city river, we'll start our trip from the beach that is easy enough to splashdown, even if it's your first time. I've been kayaking for a long time and think that the best part is the freedom. There are no tracks or traffic signals in the river. Like your own life, you control the kayak by yourself. You paddle with only your own power and feel a great sense of accomplishment when you arrive at your destination. I guarantee this will be an amazing, unforgettable experience, and I think you will fall love, both with kayaking and Osaka. Other things to note In winter, please wear warm. At the beginning of our trip, I will briefly explain why Kobe is famous for sake, its sake history, and how the industry has been changed. Midway through the trip, you will have the opportunity to stop by a local tofu manufacturer and taste their small offerings. We'll also visit a special brewery, founded over 250 years ago, which still makes sake in small batches. It is the one of the biggest breweries around here. You will get to know the whole production process, while getting a feel for the deliciousness of sake by actually tasting freshly made sake. At the end of our trip, we'll visit an innovative brewery that makes brandy, sherry with sake and citrus fruit sakes.

Then I hand over the raw clay to guests for appreciation and touching.Imagine this clay will be given life and become a work in your daily life! Have in your mind a image of your own design. Eg. If you participate with your partner, making same teacups for each other might be a memorable experience! I will also advise for your design from easiness of making or solidity in use. When design is finished, then we start building and shaping by wheel throwing. (See my demonstration!) It’s really a fun to turn a wheel! You can either concentrate in your work, or get more inspiration watching at my works in the gallery. Final step is to scrape and write your name at the bottom of your work. That’s how it works! And let’s have a tea break and Japanese sweet over imagining the finished condition of your work. I will dry and bake your work, then duly pack it , which takes 4 months (or longer in high seasons) in total till dispatching for shipment. (International shipment cost should be additionally paid at the class. For some countries shipment may not be possible, please ask.) About the cost or acceptability of international shipment of your completed pottery to your country, please check with us beforehand.(For some countries we reccommed to use more costly Fedex service for safety.)
