On the ground floor (24 m2) is a living room with sofa, kitchenette with fridge, two hotplates, dining area and separate bathroom. On the loft is the bedroom with a double bed, plenty of closet space and a clothing rack. Good WiFi available. There are two bikes (Veloretti) for rent (10,- per bike per day).

Please read the advertisement carefully before booking. I would love to make you welcome in our wonderful home in Hoogedijk. Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is no full kitchen.

Lovely suite in the historic center of Monnickendam. Nice terraces, good restaurants and beautiful nature. Within 20 minutes you are in the center of Amsterdam. You can buy the tickets at the VVV (2 minutes from the cottage) Also the Zaanseschans, Volendam and Marken can be reached within 20 minutes. The VVV, baker and the butcher are around the corner and by bike (you can use ours, we have two) you can cycle through the unique environment.
