Built in 1897 to house the horses of Halton Lodge this impressive dwelling enjoys a quiet spot close to the center of the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint. In 2019 the Nelson family moved in and set about renovating this beautiful Victorian property. Separate from the main house and accessed through the double garage doors is Wee Wych. A small living area with sofa, chair and Digital TV (includes Amazon Prime), chest of drawers, hanging space, full length mirror etc. Fast Wi-Fi.  Kitchenette with dining table to eat/work on, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Complimentary tea, coffee & sugar. The bathroom has a shower, basin & toilet, with a large mirror.

Self-contained annex - private entrance/hall leading to kitchen/living area, bedroom with en-suite shower room. At the front of the house, its comfortable, stylish, bright and airy - provides a perfect getaway in Saltdean, which is a 15 min drive to Brighton, 10 min walk to the beach/ The Downs. There is no washing machine/Sky TV…annex is within the house so there may be minimal daytime noise (nighttime foxes!). I work but am available outside of work hrs if/when needed. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the quiet setting is a short stroll to our local pub which serves great food. With plenty of local walks and visitor attractions nearby such as steam railways, vineyards, national trust properties and quaint villages. Own transport is needed, although the local bus connects to Haywards Heath and East Grinstead.

The Annex

The Annex is attached to our home and has its own private entrance and shared back garden. There is a separate shower and toilet. The kitchenette has a fridge ,2 plate induction hob and a combination microwave . It is situated with in a mile from Horsham main train station. Gatwick airport is 20 min train ride .London Victoria is 1 hour 10 by train. Horsham is a picturesque town with lots to do. It has a farmers market, plenty of shops and restaurants.

A self-contained 2-bedroom flat adjacent to our home with separate access on the idyllic Kingston Ridge . Ideal for walkers, the South Downs way is at the end of the private no-through road, or the County Town of Lewes is a 2 mile walk away (or a ten minute drive). Brighton is 8 miles down the road, with a regular bus service. The apartment is ideal for 4-6 people but has a maximum capacity of 8 (sofa bed). N.B. We have a very friendly dog.

This is a very cosy self contained double bedroom with ensuite, not a cottage with lots of rooms! Please read the full description and look carefully at the photos. Kettle, mini fridge, toaster and microwave. Very efficient electric wall heaters. Fresh croissants and home made jam included and brought to your door in the mornings on some days of the week. Please enquire. Check-in after 4pm. Check-out by 10am.
