Located in the lively and walkable Knox- Henderson neighborhood, this renovated home built in 1927 has some original charm with updated conveniences. Start your day off with a coffee in our perfect screened-in porch that overlooks our unique zen garden and backyard oasis. Cook in our modern and updated kitchen with Stainless steel appliances, gas stove and beautiful Quartz countertops. The living room includes a comfortable futon couch that converts to a double bed, 42" Smart TV with cable, extra seating, and books and games for entertainment. Sleep like a baby in the master bedroom on a luxurious queen memory foam bed, with 32" Smart TV, large closet, side lamps with USB ports and access to the backyard. The smaller, second bedroom includes a day bed with trundle - great for kids!- as well as a desk with comfortable chair to use as a workspace. The gorgeous bathroom includes a large soaking tub with moveable shower handle, plush towels and bathrobes and hair dryer! Guests have full use of the home and it's amenities. Text or Call hosts at anyt The house is set two blocks from Henderson Avenue and Lower Greenville, which boast some of Dallas' hottest bars and restaurant. Take a stroll to Velvet Taco for Mexican fare, then head to Candleroom to dance the night away. Uber & Lyft are the most convenient way to get around town without your own transportation. There are LIME BIKES parked all over the city that you can rent via app for $1/hour. There are also 3 DART stops within 5 minutes walk- all off Henderson- that will take you into downtown or can link you to a rail station nearby to get to your destination. There is a keypad entry on the front door so no need to keep track of a set of keys. The home has an alarm system for additional piece of mind and if you're comfortable using it, we can supply a personal code to use during your stay. Also, Monday is our trash and recycle day. Someone will come by (outside only) to take to curb early that morning.

Decorated with an industrial flair, this cottage connects the present to the past. Nestled in the Historic District of McKinney you'll relax with all the modern comforts of home. After enjoying shopping and dining downtown, stroll back home to spend time with friends inside or on the back deck. Amazing Location Our cottage is less than a mile from the Cotton Mill, near many other wedding Venues, one mile from Tupps Brewery, and just a 12-minute drive to TPC Craig Ranch (the new home of the Byron Nelson golf tournament). Walking Distance Attractions include: All downtown McKinney Restaurants, Wineries, Pubs, Bars, Shops, and festivals! Favorite spots in downtown McKinney are The Yard (restaurant / bar with outdoor games, fire pits, also family friendly), Ricks Steakhouse (also has a really cool bar located in the back of the restaurant with live music on the weekends), Harvest (healthy farm fresh food from local sources) & Landon Winery. The Cottage Our cottage sleeps up to five with one king sized bed and one double bed with a pull-out trundle underneath. There is high speed WIFI access and three TV's with Netflix. You can also connect TV's to your personal Hulu, Prime Video, Ruko, HBO, etc. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic cooking equipment, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, utensils, kitchen towels, coffee maker, coffee, creamer, etc. Laundry facilities include a full-sized washer and dryer. The backyard has a beautiful deck.

The house has a king bed in the master bedroom, with a queen bed and full size in the other two bedrooms. Both bathrooms have a bath/shower combination. There is also a large closet in the master bath, gas fireplace in the living room and a covered patio in the back yard. The kitchen has an electric range and oven, microwave and coffee maker. The house has a 2 car garage but it is not accessible. There is plenty of room to park in the driveway or in front of the house. We live 2 miles from the property, so we can be available to assist you or answer any questions that you might have about the property or the Rockwall/Dallas area. The property is located in quiet neighborhood with easy access to fabulous restaurants and boutique shopping in downtown Rockwall. The house is less than a mile from downtown Rockwall, so you can walk to the local tea room, coffee shop, boutique stores and restaurants.

Our home also offers Wi-Fi and 3 TVs with Roku Streaming Service. It's located within 1/2 mile of essentials, 20 minutes from downtown Dallas. Keypad entry, Keurig coffeemaker, coffee pots, pans, AC, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, face cloths, comfy beds, pillows, office, washer/dry and laundry detergent.
