Pa'amalu isn't a hotel, I just thought that was a catchy name. My dad, friends and I built this little house a few years back. I would describe it as a small storybook cottage, welcoming you to write your own chapter. We are surrounded by many different varieties of mangos bananas and other horticultural surprises on our farm. If geckos and other farm critters are your friend this is the spot.Pa'amalu is a fun romantic getaway, or a brief interlude as you travel throughout our beautiful islands.

The Kona Palm Retreat is a private villa that’s a 5-minute drive from Kailua Kona town. The accommodation's are very private and well appointed. I designed the home myself and set up the Air BNB to be completely private with its own private gardens, large porch, separate entry, parking, BBQ, Hot Tub and hammock swinging under the palm trees. Our accommodations are very clean and well appointed The Hot tub and BBQ area are only for you and your guests and are not shared.

We enjoy wonderful ocean views, and cool mountain mornings (a nice escape for hot and sunny downtown Kona (15 to 20 minutes away). We have trees everywhere and our place borders the state forest. Our house is a perfect place to make your base-camp and then head out each day for your adventures.
