Izamal is a jewel of a colonial city, with almost all the buildings painted an egg-yolk yellow. Cobblestone streets and colonial lampposts complete the scenery. Clean, peaceful and quaint, this is a great town to stroll through. There are Maya pyramids, colonial-style buildings, parks and plazas.

This tidy house, just two blocks from the convent, mercado, and Centro, is perfect for large families/groups, as there are 3 beds and two hammocks in the huge bedroom, and three hammocks in the dining room. There is an AC in the living room and in the bedroom. There is good internet, and a 42" flat screen for streaming videos. Breakfast includes eggs, bread, milk, cheese, cereal, jam, butter, coffee and tea. Huge secure back yard for your pets to roam.
