Historic 1895 Mansion With View of Truman House

This large historic home built in 1895 housed the parsonage for the nearby First Baptist Church for a long time. It is located in the Truman Heritage District, directly across the street from the Truman Home, and within easy walking distance of many 1800's and early 1900's sights in this history-rich town. Independence served as the very starting point of the Santa Fe Trail, and the promised land for the Mormon church. NO GATHERINGS, NO VISITORS unless authorized by host! Please check rules.

Charming Waldo Reader's Retreat

When my husband & I first saw this house, I knew it was the perfect place to escape to do my favorite thing - read. I designed it with that in mind. I could see myself reading in front of the wood-burning stove. Reading on the martini deck with coffee in hand. Reading in the afternoon light in the loft or outside on the deck. Located in the heart of Waldo, walking distance to restaurants, bakeries and bars. Brookside/Plaza are minutes away. I hope you love it as much as I do, I know you will.

Close to the interstate, you are within 15 minutes of downtown, Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and Kaufman and Arrowhead stadiums. Only 5 minutes from the Ford plant. This cozy home has a huge fully fenced yard. Relax on the porch while watching your kids play in the fenced-in yard or play fetch with your dog. Located in a safe neighborhood & has room for an RV & other cars. This is a non-smoking home.

Liberty Cozy Cottage, 2 Bedroom

Come stay for a cozy getaway in the charming town of Liberty! House is within walking distance of Liberty square, Hammerhand Coffee, Price Chopper, Family Tree Nursery, Quiktrip, etc. 20 min to downtown Kansas City. 19 min to stadiums. 23 min to airport. Family-friendly space. There’s a baby crib in a closet, just let me know if you need it set up ahead of time. The house is 100 years old, so it has lots of creaks and character, but I keep it maintained and clean for my wonderful guests!
