Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

The accommodation offers a unique experience of relaxing and unwinding by a lake with private sauna, whirlpool and relaxation area right on the waterfront with its own jetty, only a few steps are needed from the sauna to take a cooling dip and to afterwards be able to sit in a the warm jacuzzi and relax. Simsjön is a scenic place for you to disconnect from all the stress and get time for each other. With us you can borrow your own boat to go out on the lake and fish, there are plenty of perch, char & rainbow trout.

Comfortable holiday home with that little extra. Close to swimming area, beautiful nature, golf course, Skövde and Skara Sommarland. The floor plan of the house is open and airy. The modern kitchen and inviting living room are situated in the open part of the house with an unparalleled ceiling height. On the ground floor, there is also a double bedroom (140 cm wide) and a toilet with shower. With a step, you can get up to the cozy sleeping loft, which is equipped with two adjacent 90 cm beds. Grenadjärstorp in idyllic Borghamn

Torpet located a stone's throw from Vätterns strand with Omberg as a fund and with the beautiful plain that spreads out around Borghamn. We are looking forward to meeting 2024 with upcoming guests and do not hesitate to look at the listing and contact me for any requests. This will be our 9 year hosting our farm and we have met so many nice guests from near and far away through these years. Guests who describe the area as beautiful and serene. Nearby, there is a stone industry in use.

Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

Historic house with garden and a lovely patio.

Historic house from late 1800's. Original details with a modern brand new kitchen. Fully furnished in an eclectic 80's style. White washed floor planks throughout the whole house. New bathroom with a 5 person Sauna. Walking distance to town. Grocery, pharmacy, liquor store, pub and restaurants within 10 min walk. 500 m to the lake for a morning dip. We, the hosts, live 5min walk from the house. We will be happy to show the house and answer any questions you might have.

Mysig timmerstuga vid sjön Sommen. Utmärkt för er som vill komma ut till det stillsamma och varva ner från vardagsstressen. Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

Charming mill cottage outside Gränna

A charming 1840s cottage that has received a facelift in recent years. Here lived the miller and his wife, right next to the mill, and you can hear the quiet buzzing from the creek between the houses. Here you enjoy the tranquility and are enchanted by the cows grazing with their calves.
