Remote area that's about 15 min from Interstate 70. Quiet & peaceful w/minimal road traffic. When it's warm, you can fish at our pond or visit nearby Ramsey Lake State Park to fish. During the farming season you may hear tractors & combines. There are Amish in the area & a local Amish market. Go for walks in our wooded area. Relax on a private deck in the evening. House with hot tub on back covered patio. We have 2 electric fireplaces, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, futon & full size bed in living room that sleeps up to 7 total. It has a side outdoor covered porch with a seating area & table with chairs. Firepit area for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. Firewood on premises. Propane grill on back patio. Small kids play area in front yard. Any bookings placed before 9-8-24 will have a 11 am checkout time & any bookings after 9-8-24 will have 10 am checkout.

Beautiful completely updated home with all new items. 2 blocks from the park and swimming pool, stroller in garage if needed. Enjoy a quiet country setting stay, on the edge of town. Only 2 miles from interstate 70. This is an upstairs luxury apartment with steep stairs to the entrance. It can accomodate up to 4 people comfortably. Vandalia has lots to offer. The historic Old State Capitol where Abraham Lincoln once visited , a walking trail in Rogier Park and beautiful Vandalia Lake.

Rustic one room log cabin. Built in 1931. Bathroom is on the back porch with both hot and cold water. The cabin is equipped with an airconditioner, heater, refrigerator, microwave, stove, grill and a queen sized bed. Setting is rural and tranquil. Very quiet, beautiful place to relax and unplug. No TV or WIFI, but good cellular signal.
