Within 5 minutes of MCNP boundary. 30 minute drive to the MCNP Visitor Center. 5 minute drive to Nolin Lake State Park. 5 minutes from Blue Holler Off-road Park, Hiking And Horse back riding trails. Within 1 mile of the Nolin River, which is designated as Kentucky s first National Water Trail. 15 minutes from Shady Hollow Golf Course.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch swing while taking in beautiful scenery with the occasional visit from a fox or a deer. Tranquil Lake view is only a short walk away. The cabin is located minutes away from state resort, restaurants and dollar store. Enjoy using the pit boss grill or the gas grill. There is also a nice fire pit that can be enjoyed anytime of year. There is unlimited WiFi as well.(2 OF THE BEDROOMS ARE JOINED

Rough River Lake waterfront property sleeps 10

Open floor plan home on Rough River Lake. A large deck overlooks the lake w/ lots of outdoor seating, grill, fire pit & enough parking for your boats. This 2 bedroom house has a king bed in one bedroom & two full beds in the other bedroom. Large closets in both bedrooms each have a twin bed in them to maximize sleeping space. A queen sized sleeper sofa is downstairs. Two dining tables provide seating for 10 guests. We built a new house next door -sleeps16 @ 1075 Cave Heights Ln. NO PETS!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful paradise. The lake is approx. 5’ below summer pool. This can fluctuate depending on the rain.

Kentucky Komfort

Small house with a beautiful wrap around deck overseeing a big pond. Small, simple, and set up for a relaxing get away with the family! The entire house is accessible for a wheelchair including the wrap around deck. Fishing and boating is also with in 10 minutes away at the Rough River Dam State Park. Wifi is fast if you have work to get done, also a small work desk is in the main bedroom. A TV and two big recliners is set up in the living room for lounging.

The Shug Shack -close to Mammoth Cave & Beech Bend

The Shug Shack is a Illinois Central Railroad section house built in 1905. It was loving restored to capture the feel of an old railroad depot. Many of the original features and materials have been reused while being updated with modern upscale amenities. There is a well-stocked kitchen and a gas fireplace. It has one master bedroom and one bath with two oversize leather chairs that make twin beds. Cozy with lots of charm, it feels like home!
