Desert Camp Chraika

Traditional clay-wooden huts in a camp located in a beautiful nature area of small dunes with tamarisk trees, a 20-minute walk from M'hamid village. Built from natural materials, with electricity coming from solar power, huts will keep you warm at night and cool during the day. Rooms are equipped with comfy beds, warm blankets, carpets and simple shelves for clothes. Full Moroccan breakfast is served every day and is always included in the price. We also serve lunch and dinner on request.

Sleep in a haima in the Sahara-Chegaga Berber Camp

The Camp is located 55 km west of M'hamid, right under the foot of Chigaga - one of the two highest Moroccan dunes. The camp consists of 6 haimas-bed rooms, a bigger haima that we use like living room and as a dining room, an area with a thatched roof, with comfortable mattresses to enjoy the outdoors next to which we light a bonfire at night, where we meet with our guests to chat, have a tea or enjoy Berber music. We have also a kitchen and a common bathroom with toilets and showers.

Desert Home and Desert Tours

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Our camp is step Away 5 minutes driving from the town, just where the sand dunes and the desert calmness begins. We do have 4 private and comfortable mud huts. The beds can be depend on our guests desire. We we have two showers with hot water and two toilets outside and close to the rooms. We run excursions and if you are interested to discover more about the Sahara desert our team will be always happy to arrange that to you

Built in accordance with local methods guest house (kasbah) offers authenticity and comfort during hot summers and cold winters. The house has three rooms and all other important facilities you need for comfortable stay before you head on to your next stop in the dessert (hot shower, wi-fi, washing machine, terrace). welcome to Dar al Fananna 'The artists house' our traditional Moroccan home on the edge of the Sahara in M'hamid at Ghizlane. enjoy home cooked moroccan food and hospitality, take a camel trip out to the desert with Abdol, who is an expert desert guide (although we are new to Airbnb you can find reviews of our desert tours on trip advisor under camp Sahara desert tours) or try out your art skills with Katherine when she’s at home :)
