It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This cozy cottage is nestled along the bank of the Atchafalaya River, a few miles south of interstate 10 and half way between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, La. Maps says 15 minutes to Downtown Lafayette, 10 minutes to Downtown Youngsville, and 12 minutes from the airport! One queen size bed, one fold out twin bed in closet, and a sofa. Sleeps up to three. Comfy and cozy get away. I am NOT LOCATED IN LAFAYETTE, so if you stay here please understand that you could be 10 to 20 minute drive depending on your destination

The huge live oaks with their draped Spanish moss surround the home creating a peaceful cocoon of privacy and relaxation. The home features a huge back porch overlooking the bayou to do some birdwatching. The center hall allows for a nice breeze.
