Dine Al Fresco at a Contemporary Apartment in Balham

The property is light and spacious and the reception looking out into the private garden offers a tranquil feeling. I have created a 'London Theme' throughout the property. A good sized Master Bedroom with large King Size Bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers and en-suite wet room (Shower, Toilet, Sink). Bedroom 2 has a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted television. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, sink and toilet. The open plan kitchen and reception is ideal to both relax and socialise. Modern but homely, large kitchen bar counter with bar stools. A large comfortable sofa and a feature ‘spitfire’ chair. Separate bistro dining table and chairs. A large wall mounted television with sound bar. Full height glass sliding doors open directly out into the fabulous garden. The garden has a bistro table and chairs and a 3 Meter king built in seating bench (with made to measure cushions for comfort). There is also a built in braai / bbq and a decked area. Stunning lighting has also been installed to offer an ambient garden experience. We provide super fast unlimted fibre broadband for your added enjoyment and convenience. My Airbnb is a ‘permanent airbnb’. The property is for the exclusive use of guests. I live just a few minutes away from the property so am generally always available to assist where necessary, answer any questions or recommendations for local bars and restaurants. If you require any printing out of documents or business services, I also have an office close by and pleased to assist. Balham is a wonderful small London suburb with a village feel, with many fabulous independent shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants and pleasant nightlife scene including bars, old-school pubs, and the Banana Cabaret comedy club. There are many parks just a short walk away, including Tooting Bec, Wandsworth and Clapham Commons for green open spaces and picnics. Great rapid transport links into Central London via Tube or Train as Balham Station is just a short 5 min walk away. Just a 5 minute walk from Balham Station which is on the Northern Line Underground and on the National Rail over-ground both offering easy quick access into the City and West End. It’s just 12 minutes on the National Rail From Balham to Victoria and then a short walk to Buckingham Palace. On the tube it’s Just 20 minutes to the South Bank (Waterloo/Embankment) and a couple more minutes to Leicester Square. For the kids wanting the Harry Potter Studio Tour there is a train from Balham once an hour to Watford Junction where you catch the short 10 minute bus ride to the Warner Bros. Studio! Parking is available on the road outside the property and I offer complimentary parking permits on request. WATER I’m often asked about the water. Water from the taps is perfectly safe to drink. USB In every room we have plugs with a USB port for easy charging of devices along with a couple of international plug adapters GENERAL My aim is for all my guests to have a relaxing and wonderful stay at my Airbnb. For your convenience, all cleaning products are provided for you, this includes washing up liquid, cleaning tabs for the dishwasher, washing powder and fabric softener, toilet rolls, shower gel in bathrooms, liquid soaps and hair conditioner. In the unlikely event you run out of these during your stay please do call or message me and I will arrange a quick top up. LINEN We provide quality bed linen and towels for your stay. If you are staying with us for more than 12 days we offer a complimentary linen and towel change and basic clean half way through your stay.

Romantic Cottage Retreat near Lancaster Castle

Snuggle up by the wood-burning fireplace in this cosy 'cottage/chalet style' sanctuary nestled within a peaceful walled oasis, just a few minutes from Lancaster town centre. It's remarkably light and airy inside, thanks to white paneling and skylights. Help yourself to a nice glass of bubbles and take in the spectacular close up views of Lancaster Castle from the window seat, whilst you plan your days ahead. Draw a hot bath in a copper tub big enough for 2 (with Castle View's very own homemade lavender bubble bath) before climbing in to the exceptionally comfortable 'secret bedroom'. Quaint on the outside. Quirky on the inside. Inside Castle View, the secret bedroom and bathroom are a real surprise and simply luxurious! Everything is kitted out with your complete comfort in mind. A giant copper bath for 2 people, a king size natural mattress with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, Smeg fridge/freezer and a giant 'Loaf' sofa to sink into in front of the wood burner. The flat screen TV can be positioned to watch from the living room, 'secret' bedroom or bathroom. Insulation and remote control blackout blinds throughout the property ensure a peaceful nights sleep. The property is detached from our home and has it's own parking space. We're around in person or by text to help in any way that we can - although we completely understand that many guests will want to keep themselves to themselves. :) Just a minutes walk from Lancaster Castle, 3 minutes walk from Lancaster train station and a 4 minute, breath taking walk to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, yet situated in a peaceful walled oasis in the heart of historic Lancaster Castle Conservation area. Whether you want a romantic retreat or a comfortable base to explore the North West - the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Manchester Airport are all about an hour away. Parking space a few strides from the cottage. Getting around could not be easier! The property has it's own parking space. The train station really is 2 minutes walk away from the property gates. Simply wheel your case straight up from the platform. No need for a taxi! By train, Manchester airport is a direct 1 hour 15 train journey away. Oxenholme (The Lake District) 12 mins. Delightful seaside towns such as Silverdale and Arnside 15/20 mins away. Yorkshire Dales 30 minutes. Morecambe 10 minutes. There are frequent direct trains to Edinburgh and London that take just under 2.5 hours. There are cycle tracks on our doorstep to picturesque riverside locations and seaside villages and towns. We are less than 10 minutes walk away to the bus station. Children aged 8 years and upwards are welcome. Feel free to bring your own dry logs and kindling - or buy a basket from us for £10. This year we are giving 10% of our turnover to LDHAS (Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service). So your stay at Castle View will help to support the less fortunate in our community.

DLR to Canary wharf in 8 mins and Westfield Stratford (Olympic Park) 20 mins DLR There is a thames clipper jetty located next to the cutty sark, this river service into the heart of the city provides an interesting alternative to the conventional rail transport. There are two balconies for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. Guests will have the entire flat I am available for guest queries and usually send a text the day after checkin just to say Hi and ensure guests have settled in. Davey or Richard will always meet you at the property for check in and run through and questions that you have. Greenwich has a great village feel with cool restaurants, cafes, and Greenwich Market, as well as Greenwich Observatory. The flat is approximately five miles from Central London (just a short train, ferry, or DLR ride away). Greenwich Mainline and DLR (URL HIDDEN) 8 mins to London Bridge 13-15 minutes Waterloo East 18-20 Minutes Charing Cross Station (Trafalgar Sq) There is also a Water Ferry directly from Greenwich to the O2 or The Centre. Reimagined 1715 Beachfront Cottage with Terrace

Escape to the country in this fisherman's cottage right on the beach. The home has been tastefully redecorated, featuring rustic wood flooring and accents, a cosy fireplace, beamed ceilings, light touches of colour, and panoramic views. The building is a 1715 fisherman's cottage, so expect low ceilings and small windows looking onto the Main St. At the back, the house has been extended, so the windows are large, looking onto our deck with the sea-wall at the end of the garden. There's a low wall between ours and the neighbours' houses. The kitchen is large and equipped for living, not just holidaying. So if you have gastronomic ambitions, go wild: it's a pleasure to cook and eat in as you watch the light change over the sand-dunes. The living-room is low-beamed, so watch your head. There's a gas fire for cosiness without hassle, 2 armchairs and a big sofa, with loads of cushions on all of them. The TV is a 46-inch SmartTV, so with the fibre internet (40 Mb/s) you can stream Netflix, iPlayer, etc. Upstairs, the twin room faces over the main street. The beds have memory-foam mattresses, velvet headboards and their own reading lamps. There's a big chest of drawers for your clothes. The double room has a built-in wardrobe, kingsize bed with antique wood-panelled headboard and memory-foam mattress. It also has a huge bay window looking out to sea. There's a small en-suite with toilet and shower. We've just refurbished the family bathroom, so it's immaculate with rainfall shower, bath and underfloor heating. You'll have the place to yourself. Enjoy it. Use the AirBnB app to contact me. My phone number is in the house for emergencies. The home is located on a tidal estuary in the Lake District National Park. It is a great area for bird watching and walking. The property is in Ravenglass with its steam railway and Roman ruins. There are pubs, a supermarket, tea rooms, and much more nearby. Parking: we have space for one car at the front of our house. If you bring a second car, there is free parking at the station, which is a 2-minute walk. Trains: Ravenglass is well-known for its trains, with 2 stations. As well as being on the coastal line that runs from Carlisle round to Lancaster, it is home to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. This is a narrow-gauge line that runs 11km (7 miles) up Eskdale through splendid scenery. Beautiful steam and diesel engines run, and it's perfect for letting everyone in your group enjoy an end-of-walk pint or three.

The property is a large lower ground floor flat that consists of two beautiful bedrooms and two stunning ensuite bathrooms. It has a warm and welcoming open plan living space and kitchen. The main double bedroom is very large with a comfortable seating area, a TV and a writing desk. It has a beautiful ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. The room also benefits from a walk-in wardrobe. The second ensuite bedroom is smaller but has a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds on request. The room has a TV and built-in storage. The open plan kitchen and living area is a great place to eat and be social. It contains a large TV and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen has an integrated fridge, dishwasher and cooker. There's a separate utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and a large fridge freezer. The flat has 3 smart TVs and a Sonos speaker in the living area. We hope you find everything you need to have an enjoyable stay but we are close by so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problems. Please note that this is a quiet residential area. The flat is in an old Victorian building and we are very mindful and respectful to our neighbours. The flat is in the bustling Seven Dials area with family-friendly parks, cafes, boutique shopping, and charming pubs nearby. The lively waterfront of Brighton, the beach, the boardwalk, and an array of restaurants and shops are just steps away. Most parts of the city are easily readable by foot from the flat. If you're driving, there is on-street paid parking nearby. Alternatively, there's loads of great transport options nearby to get around and see the city including city bikes and buses. Normally I am around to welcome you and show you around The Loft. If I am away, there is a key pad to enter the building and a key box to let you into the apartment. The apartment is in Chipping Norton, a pretty Cotswold working town surrounded by glorious countryside. It's close to award-winning pubs, Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford, and is within 10 minutes of 3 festivals: Cornbury, Wilderness, and Feastival. Chipping Norton is connected to Oxford & Banbury by the bus. The nearest mainline station is Kingham, which has regular trains from London (Paddington). This is a 5 minute drive away.
