Our 120 sqm apartment is located in our 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between castle and cellar forest. We are happy to welcome you with a bottle of wine. The garden was created by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful excursions from here. You can also start the tours with our bikes and relax in our sauna in the evening. It is an Eldorado for mountain bikers and hikers.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Both the town of Bad Wildungen and the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park are just a few minutes' drive away. Experience a pleasant stay in the spa town. In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility. The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
