After walking around the market and its sections, we'll end the experience with a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack. Colombia is known as the coffee country, well, we got much more history linked to the “green gold”. Emeralds are part of the selected group of precious stones and the 60% of them in the world are originally from Colombia. Become part of the Emerald legend, by creating a ring with your own hands. This tour starts by having an introduction about the importance of emeralds for precolonial and colonial culture. We will go through the emerald and jewelry district to learn about the history of the precious metals and stones and its influence in Colombian culture. We will take a look at the emerald market to see the different minerals and qualities. Then we will work on your new ring, where you will decide all! the design, the stone and material, by the personal advisory of a orfebre (jewelry master) who teaches you how to do every single step.

We will live a nice experience around the Ancestral Drinks and Craft Beer as an excuse to know something of the history of the city and the country. We will visit different places in the city, chatting, sharing and drinking Chichas and some beers while we know the center of Bogotá and a part of Chapinero with some of its history. We will be climbing quite a few stairs to get to the top of the park and will take our time since Bogotá is at a high altitude and its easy to get out of breath. The entire trail is very well-maintained, so this is the perfect hike for non-hikers. Next, we will walk to one of the best-hidden gems in Bogotá as we stumble upon a natural stream flowing through the city. It's like entering a small Narnia oasis in the middle of all the buildings. We will take our time following the stream back down into the city and pop out into Zone G, a high-end gastronomic area in the city. Did you know that Colombia's national sport involves throwing a heavy disc to a course full of clay and explosives, while drinking beer? Well this sport is called tejo. I'll be waiting for you at a traditional tejo place where you'll learn about the history of this game, the rules and how to play it. We'll play tejo for about an hour, while drinking unlimited local beer, because in this sport the more you drink the better you'll perform. After the tejo game we'll head to a local craft beer pub where we'll talk about beer, each one of the ingredients and the beer making process. Here you'll have a tasting of the different style of beers produced at this local craft brewery and then have a glass of your favorite one. Hi! We are a group of local friends that host bar crawls in Bogotá every Friday & Saturday night. We wanted to give foreigners and tourists a unique "locals' experience", so we started these bar crawls. This bar crawl consists of 3 bars and 1 club, all located in the Chapinero neighborhood in Bogotá. Chapinero is one of the most popular nightlife areas, especially among university students and young adults, in Bogotá. We will meet for 1 hour at the first bar at 7:30 pm to congregate and converse, and then we will proceed to the next 2 bars every hour, finally finishing off at the club by 12:30 am. Normally, locals also come on our crawls, so you will have the opportunity to connect with some Colombians and practice your Spanish! Our bar crawls consist of different bars on different nights.
