Prepare the famous Empanada de Pino
We will share with you a cooking class where you will learn the techniques and secrets of the famous Empanadas de Pino, a special recipe of our beloved grandmother. We will talk about the ingredients that compose it: the dough, the filling or pino (onions, meat, raisins, olives and egg) and the famous Chilean pebre (tomato, onion and coriander). We will cook the ingredients of the empanada, and we will teach you how to organize the elements to fill them, we will work the dough, cut it and make the classic shapes, then we will heat the oven to the right temperature and bake them until they are golden brown. We will also make the delicious pebre that accompanies them, and finally we will sit at the table to taste the traditional Chilean Empanada de Pino con Pebre. Ask me if you have any special needs, and we will see how we can adapt to you. We love to share with people from different cultures and we will be happy to share with you, whoever you are. @tourpersonal
Casablanca Valley boutique Winery Tour
We'll leave Santiago around 9 am and take a pretty , 75 mins drive to the Casablanca Valley, previously famous mainly for its' whites but now producing increasingly amazing reds as well. We'll avoid the large, commercial, touristy producers and concentrate exclusively on boutique wineries with - it goes without saying - fantastic wines and a special, intimate vibe. Depending on the availability that day, we'll visit any two of the best, special, small producers in the valley, each with their own distinct and contrasting styles of wine. A lunch stop is not included in the schedule or price but can be arranged if all participants are up for it (from an empanada to a sit-down lunch) and if planned in advance. My aim is for the trip to be laid back, entertaining and informative, hopefully as if travelling with a friend. I speak native-level English, French and Spanish. Please note that due to some wineries still being closed to tourism because to the pandemic (or in some cases just on certains days), I ENCOURAGE INQUIRIES BEFORE GUESTS ACTUALLY BOOK, TO GIVE ME TIME TO CHECK WINERY AVAILABILITY BEFOREHAND and avoid having to reschedule in the event of unavailability on any given day. In principle the experience is limited to 3 guests for comfort reasons but larger groups (traveling together) can be accomodated. Please contact me with any doubts for for further information!

⭐️ Trekking! Santiago from a mountain! Let's Hike!!
Reference dates and times! Confirm via message the day and time you want to go and how many people you are. Please read everything: Hi friends! We will do a great hike to a mountain with a great view of the city! We will be going up by different levels of slope appreciating the city, the flora and fauna that the place offers us, like native trees and a sclerophyllous forest that is a typical plant formation only of Chile. Upon reaching the top we can have a beautiful view of the largest city in Chile and the great mountains in the Andes. The duration of the route uphill is approximately 1 hour to 3 hours depending on the pace, I respect and adapt myself to your pace, I prefer small groups for that reason; we will go at the slowest person pace. The descent is from 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. It is a Moderate hike (medium level) If the whole group has less experience and all agree, we can do an easy hike from the same starting point. You need to have a normal physical condition and be able to walk with positive slope! Preferably you must have experience in hiking or walking long distances. *You pay for this experience, Airbnb takes a 20% commission, government tax 25%, so the net income I earn is 55%. All this in a natural park immersed in the city, ideal space for stargazing. We will also be accompanied by coastal species such as sea lions and their night calls, in addition to the shine of the moon on the sea, and the sound of the sea hammering the rocks. Valparaiso's cuisine in stories: tasting local food
Discover the Valparaiso's local cuisine through its "picás" in the oldest quarter! Our meeting point starts at Sotomayor square where we will walk through Barrio Puerto, the historic center of the city and part of the UNESCO site of Valparaíso. On the route, we will visit 3 "picás porteñas" (popular and traditional restaurant or bar in Valparaíso) where we'll taste the specialty of the house with an aperitif or glass of Chilean wine. Each restaurant is a journey through time knowing the local life of the porteños, where workers and neighbors of the city are the hosts of these places, so we will know not only the history of Valparaíso, but also meeting places of fans of the local soccer team; Santiago Wanderers, or old sailor's bars where home-flavored food accompanied by traditional music such as boleros and cueca (local folklore music), are building the identity and popular culture of Valparaíso everyday. Finally, we'll go up to the viewpoint of the Cordillera hill on its ascensor (historical funicular) with a spectacular view of the city and Barrio Puerto. Other things to note Inform previously about special diet (vegetarian, vegan or other), allergies or food restrictions.

We visit the San Francisco Church, ravines, passages, viewpoints and the hideout of Pablo Neruda. The tour takes between 2.30 and 3 hours approximately, full of adventures and beautiful places unknown by the tourist and made to portray with your camera and save this piece of history. You can follow us on ig (instagrm) finding us as: Tour no Tour Valparaiso
Providencia, a historical tour
Discover Providencia! Let's do a different tour in Santiago, focusing on one of the most important parts, Providencia commune, sometims pulled apart from turistic circuits. The old cobble streets and houses across Pedro de Valdivia avenue will guide us through the history, origin, architecture, neighboors and stories about Providencia. From it's beggining to being Chile's most important financial district. We'll meet on Plaza Pedro de Valdivia - Metro station Ines de Suarez- where lots of old casonas contrast with new buildings. We're gonna talk about some of this buildings and some hidden stories they got. The first stop will be at Providencia's City Hall to enjoy it's calm and beautiful gardens and sculptures. The tour continues through a transformed Providencia. Old mansions and their new uses as universities, embassies or cultural centres. We're gonna have a second stop at my favorite specialty coffee house, let me invite you a good Espresso Tonic or maybe a Cold Brew! Now we are on a different Providencia. Modern, full of banks and commerce. How does a little neighborhood becomes Chile's main financial district? We'll conclude the tour on an open museum, with a beautiful view to the city so we can just sit and talk about everything we saw before ending the tour. Other things to note It's an easy walk through a beautiful and calm neighborhood. On summer it's suggested that you bring light clothes and water. Oh, and there are really good spots to take photos, so don't be afraid to bring your camera or phone to take pictures. Share them later!
Horseback Riding with Connection Experience
We'll meet at the equestrian center and after a meet and greet, go strait to the horses. My horses are very perceptive of the energies, I like letting them choose the rider. We’ll do a couple of grounded exercises and then we’ll go to the barn to brush and tack the horse. Here I like promoting having a deeper connection with the horse. When the horse is ready, we’ll go to the arena for some instructions before leaving the barn. Depending on your riding level, we will have a lovely canter/trot/walk on the Patagonian fields… Anyone can come and enjoy the experience, but previous riding experience is desired… my horses were not trained for tourism, they expect an instruction and if not given one, they’ll try to turn around or start eating grass. We will be on the saddle about 1,5hours. The rest of the time is spent with the horse from the ground.

The memory of political violence
First, we will get together at the exit of Metro Cumming. We will introduce ourselves to each other and share how much everyone knows about the topic. Not knowing anything about political repression is not an impediment; on the contrary, it is the sole purpose of this "experience". A parish that is three blocks away is our first stop. From here the political police abducted the Number 2 in the structure of MIR (Revolutionary Left Movement). The way this case was handled by the MIR, and its propaganda apparatus in exile will be discussed while we walk the short eight blocks to the memorial of the last leader of MIR assassinated during the dictatorship. At this site I will retell the transformation within the MIR, especially about the use of violence, its divisions and collapse. While I prompt the comparison with other political and military groups such as the IRA or ETA we will be walking three short blocks to the historic "Photographers´Square" in the Concha y Toro patrimonial blocks. Here, while sharing how the square got its name I Will offer you to take a short stroll to the Cultural Center where i live so we can have a refreshment and converse about the topic and share some of the reflections you might have. Other things to note That prior knowledge of Chilean history is not needed. That the sole purpose of this "experience" is to put political violence into perspective. Sharing of personal experiences is encouraged.
