This is a 100 year old farmhouse fully refurbished with all modern amenities. Three bedrooms and 1 bath, it is charming, cozy and tastefully decorated. The decor will take you back to a simple and easy time where raising big families and living off the land was the norm. Situated on the beautiful Doe river, you can step into the front yard and enjoy fly fishing or simply sit on the porch and enjoy the sound of the water. Located just a mile from Roan Mt State Park and 12 miles from the majestic mile high Roan Mt, home of the enchanting Rhodendron Gardens. This area is near Watauga Lake, Bristol Motor Speedway, several ski resorts, lots of hiking trails including the world famous Appalachian Trail. You will be in the midst of some of the prettiest fall leaves. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also nearby. There are so many things to do here, you will never be bored. We have several local restaurants that will keep you well fed.

Relax and get back to nature in your private getaway on Doe River. Upstairs you will find one bedroom with queen bed and private bath. Downstairs you will have a full size pull out couch, washer/dryer, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and single burner stove. There's a Blackstone grill outside for your use. * Although your entire space is completely private, it is possible I may be in another part of the house. I will never invade your locked space until after checkout.

Country Cottage

Country Cottage gives you the chance to relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay with great mountain views. We are also pet friendly, with plenty of yard to let them play while you enjoy the mountain scenery! The living room has a couch with a queen pull out bed, and the back room also has a pull out futon bed for more guests! The master bathroom has a walk in shower. There is a carport outside of the house that will hold up to 2 cars. We hope you enjoy! :)
