The Shackteau

A rustic cabin, right out of “Deliverance.” Inside, it's a well equipped clean and cozy retreat overlooking the world famous Margaree River and hills. Margaree Forks is a great place to get away from it all, yet close to everything in western Cape Breton. I believe my happiest guests are those who are familiar with the camping lifestyle but now want something more comfortable. The owners now live in their new home on the property. Includes one queen bed, full bath with shower, and kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and sink. Shared barbeque located on lower level. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite.
