Studio Büelenhof - amidst mountains and animals!

The beautiful accommodation of Paul Jud is combined with an older farm, which is rather secluded and surrounded by forest and meadow with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquility, as leisure there are many attractions and sports opportunities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer (King of the Pre-Alps). If the weather is nice, you can enjoy a fantastic view to Lake Constance. The studio is wheelchair accessible and infinitely variable.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The holiday apartment is located below the village of Amden. The peasant family also lives in the same house. During the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (slurry). But we do our best and take this into account as far as possible. We have cats, dogs and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book with us, costs 30 Fr.

The apartment is accessible down a flight of stairs with a separate entrance and private garden/patio. The 1 bedroom apartment with a sofabed in the lounge is suitable for 2 adults & 2 young children or 3 adults. There are spectacular views of the Alps (Churfirsten) from all windows. This two-storey gallery penthouse on 133m2, located in the Walensee resort, is characterized by its unique view of the mountains and directly over the lake. From this location you can walk to the Unterterzen-Flumserberg gondola in a few minutes, to the Unterterzen train station in 150m or to the lake. Going out at the Churfirsten

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850m directly below the Churfirsten, giving you an optimal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. A cool refreshment is offered by Lake Walensee, which is 10 minutes by car at the foot of the mountain. You can end the day comfortably at the fire bowl and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a bus service to Walenstadtberg.
