After arrival and introductions, we'll start the process by showing you how to properly slash your dough and get it into the oven. this will allow our first loaves to bake and cool in time for sampling, because who wants to attend a sourdough class and not get to eat any of it? :) Next, we'll begin the process of mixing ingredients, going over the recipe and process. during the periods when the dough will be resting ill conduct a demonstration for a fun live cultured beverage, you can make at home or simply enjoy it during the baking class. Since there is so much time involved in producing a loaf, I'll be moving along with the steps as quickly as we can and spending most of the time between processes answering questions and explaining the why behind the techniques. classes typically last between 3-4 hours so light refreshments will be served throughout the class. The Black Journey- Philadelphia Black History Walking Tour
The tour will commence at the Independence Visitor's Center with an introduction to the topic of Black History during the colonial period. You will hear about the role that Black Americans played in the founding of the nation. The group will continue to the President’s House and hear about the 9 enslaved people who were held there. The group will hear about Martha Washington's handmaid who ran away to escape slavery. At the next stop you will see where The Fugitive Slave Act 1793 was passed. The next stop is Congo Square where people of African descent held celebrations. It is also a potter's field where free and enslaved Africans are still buried to this day. The next stop is Mother Bethel AME Church. There is where the African Methodist Episcopal Church was established and is the oldest piece of real estate owned by people of African descent in the United States. You will hear about the liberation of a woman whose owner attempted to abduct her back into slavery and the trial of her rescuers. You will also see the traditional sites of Independence Hall, liberty bell, Congress Hall, and much more Other things to note Masks are required. We will be walking approximately 1.5 miles for the tour on uneven and cobblestoned surfaces. Please wear comfortable and sturdy footwear. We will continue the tour during light rain.

Sourdough pizza and homemade mozzarella workshop
We’ll start the class out with introductions and a run down of what it takes to achieve a successful bubbly pizza dough, you’ll go home with a recipe and a healthy jar of starter. While our dough rests we’ll start a batch of fresh mozzarella cheese and I’ll show you how simple it is to create beautiful low-moisture mozzarella perfect for pizza! From there we’ll select toppings and sauce and fire the pizzas in the oven. We have a wood fired pizza oven, but we want to show you how easy it is to achieve Italian pizzeria style pizza in your own kitchen! Keep in mind this is perfect to do as a couple or for a date. Bike the Burgh Tour
First we will bike through the streets of the Financial and Cultural district, explore the Strip District and then check out the North Shore on its scenic river trails. We will dive into the history of Pittsburgh, tracking down the people who shaped this city to what it is today: a beauty. Downtown Lancaster International Food Tour All Diets Welcome
Lancaster, PA is a certified welcome city for immigrants and refugees. On this amazing walking tour, you will eat some of the best food in downtown Lancaster. You will meet your host in downtown Lancaster. After a brief introduction, you will explore the city tasting a variety of foods at six different locations. This tour offers medium portions, not samples. It's a lot of food. The food varies by day of the week and time of day. Foods may include Danish, Italian, Nepali, Latin, and more! The chefs are excited to share their culture and food with you. You will hear stories from immigrant and refugee chefs who have settled in Lancaster to open shops featuring recipes from their home country. While en route, we will visit historical sites dating back 200+ years. This is a great activity for groups, families, or friends visiting Lancaster. Gift cards are also available. Learn healthy healing with plants! Start with a guided hour walk through nature identifying & harvesting plants that heal. Then bring your harvested basket of healing plants to an hour-long workshop where we process the plants and show you how to turn them into medicine. Take home your new knowledge & fresh made medicine for gifts or personal use. You'll be amazed at how fun & simple it is to heal with plants that grow straight out of the Earth. Other things to note An hour nature walk includes a 20-minute meet & greet with handouts & instructions. Guided trails of hilled terrain require hiking footwear. Hike Frick Park with a Hairless Dog
We'll set off from Regent Square and hike up the back trails with your new best friend: a jovial hairless dog named Lola! Along with exercising and socializing, we'll take some photos to publish on Lola's world famous Instagram profile. As we hike, feel free to take time to photograph the Pittsburgh backcountry. Along the way we will have great views of nature and Western Pennsylvania!

Awaken your senses on a 90-minute guided hike in scenic Buttermilk Falls State Park. Join local forager & ecologist, Sarah Kelsen, for a hands-on adventure where you'll learn to identify a variety of wild & native Northeastern plants, while observing & maintaining the diverse forest ecology. Sink into the present & soak up the outdoors! Hikes depart from and return to Firelight Camps in Ithaca, NY. We will meet at the Firelight Lobby Tent, downhill from LaTourelle Hotel. Public Tour - Sanctuary
Upon Arrival guests will be greeted by one of our co-founders or animal caregivers at our historic event barn. Guests will receive a brief introduction to the nonprofit and the property. You will be able to enter animal enclosures and meet some of the animal residents, while learning about animal agriculture and hearing some of the unique rescue stories at Tamerlaine. Many of our animals love human attention! Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch (vegan) while taking in beautiful views of the property. Learn about the lives of farmed animals and animal rehabilitation, while listening to unique and inspiring recovery and rescue stories that will warm your heart. There is parking on site when you arrive. Arrive 5- 10 minutes before the tour to fill our our waiver and use the restroom.
Philadelphia History, Highlights, & Revolution Walking Tour
On this tour, we’ll explore Independence National Historical Park and the Old City neighborhood to see a plethora of historical landmarks! Along the way, your guide will keep you posted on the history of these sites and fill you in on all kinds of useful info for your visit to Philly. We’ll see Carpenters Hall, where the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded. Next, we’ll head to the Museum of American Revolution, which offers an incredible look at the stories, artifacts, and people that shaped the American Revolution. We’ll go inside to see a presentation of George Washington’s War Tent ( when your tour is over, you’ll be able to get a discounted ticket to see the rest of the museum). As we walk through Old City, we’ll also pass by some favorite sites such as Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest continuously-occupied residential street in the entire US), showcasing incredible architecture dating back to the early 1700s, the Betsy Ross House, named after a famous seamstress and flag maker who is said to have sewn the first ever American flag, Benjamin Franklin’s Grave (bring a penny to toss!), and the outdoor President’s House Landmark where Washington and Adams lived.

We will safely guide you on a fun tour of local breweries and distilleries, also a covered bridge. We go at your pace. We love to share all the fun and beauty in the Catskill Mountains, and look forward to hosting you and your group.
Learn how to wakeboard
We will start with an on land instructional lesson, covering the beginner basics of Wakeboarding. We will cover how to position yourself in the water. Where your arms and legs should be, how to hold the handle, proper weight distribution, and everything else involved with process of getting pulled out of the water. We will then take out the boat as new friends and transfer what you learned on land to the water. We’ll progress on how to maneuver the board while riding and different weight distribution to get the board to move with you. Each person will have about 30 minutes of on the water time, which will be more than enough to enjoy yourself. Depending on your skill level and abilities we can even try to learn a trick or two. Other things to note This is a water activity, you will get wet. Plan accordingly. Ill do my best to get you up and riding. While the success rate is high, it is not guaranteed, but we will have fun no matter what!
