This cosy three-bedroom home in the heart of Castlemaine Village offers a warm, welcoming stay for families or small groups. With a comfortable interior, it’s the perfect base for exploring West Kerry, including the Dingle Peninsula and Inch Beach. Just 15 minutes from Kerry Airport and 10 minutes from the train station, the home is ideally located. Set in a friendly, historic village, it’s a peaceful retreat with easy access to local sights and towns.

The space
This two-storey, three-bedroom family home is located in the heart of The Square, Castlemaine Village. With a warm, homely interior, it offers a safe and comfortable stay for guests.

The ground floor features a living room, a dining area, and a convenient WC. The kitchen is located at the rear of the house and is accessible via three steps down from the main level. All three bedrooms and the main bathroom are situated on the first floor.

Ideally situated for exploring the unique beauty of West Kerry, you'll be just a short drive from the stunning Dingle Peninsula, with its breathtaking views and vibrant culture. Enjoy a day at Inch Beach, visit the iconic Skellig Islands, or stop by the Skellig Experience Visitor Centre to learn more about the area's rich history.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire house, with the exception of the linen cupboard located next to the bathroom.

Killarney boasts a magnificent national park, Tralee is home to the famous International Rose Festival, and Killorglin hosts the annual Puck Fair—each worth a visit during your stay in "The Kingdom of Kerry." Kerry Airport is just a 15-minute drive away, and the train station is approximately 10 minutes from the house.

The village itself is a welcoming oasis, full of charm and community spirit. As the birthplace of the celebrated Jack Duggan, Castlemaine has a proud and colourful history. The Irish name, Caisleán na Mainge, means "Castle of the Maine," a nod to its location by the River Maine.
