We will begin construction on a new villa adjacent to our existing Guu Villas during Koh Lanta's 'green season'. While this development will ultimately enhance the size & quality of our villa resort, we understand that construction activity — no matter how carefully managed — can potentially affect the tranquillity that our guests value.
We hope you will choose to enjoy your stay at Villa Ling-Guu with the discounted green season rate, as your comfort will always remain our top priority.
Living Spaces:
Villa Ling-Guu is a large, tropically focused residence ideal for both short & long-term rentals. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors & windows allow each room an abundance of natural light and fresh sea breeze, while the back living spaces highlight the sunset over the Andaman Sea.
As you enter the main living section of this Guu Villa #2, guests enjoy a spacious social room with a large 75” Samsung Smart TV. This space transitions to an open-plan design with a modern kitchen & dining area. All living spaces are furnished and include hand-made furniture sourced throughout South-East Asia. Access to the exterior perimeter is lined with tall glass doors to the garden, sala/gazebo, and private 6m long ‘zero-edge’ swimming pool.
Villa Ling-Guu offers 5 different living areas: TV/living room, lower dining area, private 6m long swimming pool, grass-thatched sala, upper level terrace & dining area with sunset views towards famous Phi Phi Island.
Kitchen & Dining:
Custom cabinets with stone benchtops complete the fully functional kitchen. A large Samsung refrigerator, stove & oven, pantry, filtered water and microwave allow for all your culinary comforts. Also included in the air-conditioned kitchen & dining room is a 2m long island and breakfast bench leading towards the custom-made dining table.

Bedrooms (2 x King Size + set of bunk beds. Sleeps 6 people):
A set of 2 king-sized air-conditioned bedroom retreats with ensuite bathrooms and built-in robes are placed on the ground floor & upper floor. Tall aluminium, tinted sliding glass doors enable easy entry to the outside living spaces from all bedrooms.
Master Suite #1 sits on the upper level of the villa and has an additional set of bunk beds ideal for extra couples or a family of 4. This over-sized bedroom includes a work-from-home area, a spacious ensuite with double-vanities and enjoys direct access to the oversized terrace with a stunning sea view.
Master Suite #2 is located on the ground level and opens directly to the private swimming pool. The room has a king-sized bed and a generous ensuite with artisan tiles and double vanity.
Bathrooms / WCs (2.5):
In addition to the ensuites in the two main bedrooms, there is an additional 3rd communal WC located on the ground floor and a poolside shower in the garden courtyard.
Work-from-Home Space:
Continuing the modern functionality of this new villa, the Master Suite #1 has ample desk space to allow a quiet retreat for guests wishing to work whilst in Thailand.
Note: The rooftop terrace, living room and pool-side sala also offer comfortable working spaces.
Sundeck & Upper-Level Terrace:
Space! Villa Ling-Guu offers an abundance of lazy & liveable space within its own private sanctuary ~ including an oversized outdoor terrace designed for entertaining, having an afternoon nap or simply reading a book in the shade. Enjoy the sunset view from this spot!
The upper-level terrace (70m2) can be accessed via Master Suite #1 or from a second set of stairs located near the swimming pool. This terrace includes outdoor furniture designed to specifically suit the open area and boasts tropical sunset views towards famous Phi Phi island. The rooftop is ideal for lazy afternoons and shared evenings with hammocks, bean-bags and shade provided by tropical plants.
Swimming Pool (6m x 3m x 1.8m):
Villa Ling-Guu has a private ‘zero-edge’ swimming pool with traditional green sukabumi tiles imported from Bali. This is the perfect place to cool down on warm tropical afternoons with poolside sunbeds.
Garden:
The garden features lush, manicured tropical plants on the 360m2 property. Natural greenery, bougainvillea and palm trees wrap around the perimeter of the villa in traditional Balinese fashion, whereby the boundary ties into the green vegetation as much as possible, allowing a truly unique outdoor oasis. The swimming pool and sala/gazebo are located in the back garden ~ an ideal place to spend a holiday with family and friends.

- Phuket airport is 5,000 THB
Cleaning is included 1 x per week:
- For extra cleaning we charge 1,500 THB per time inc. change of linen and towels change.
Child cot / crib is available for an additional 500 THB per week.
Please note that the Guu Villas and our next door neighbour (Villa Lila) are both family-friendly accommodation; which means that after 10PM noise should be kept down and after 11PM is quiet time.
Koh Lanta (and long beach in particular) are full of restaurants, bars and social areas ~ our staff are always happy to recommend a few local places for late night entertainment!

Guest access
Guests renting Villa Ling-Guu have access to the entire 2-storey villa and all spaces within the 360m2 property (including the garden pavilion, sala and private 3m x 6m swimming pool).
Guests of The Guu Villas also enjoy having access to the bistro next door at Villa Lila (50m away), the communal swimming pool and the gym at Villa Lila as well.
