Onder de kastanjeboom staat ons romantische vrijstaande huisje in het pittoreske Schellinkhout. Volledig uitgerust met keuken, badkamer, TV en 2 pers. bed met heerlijk matras. In 10 stappen sta je op het zandstrandje om te zwemmen, zonnen en (kite)surfen. Wandel langs het vogelbroedgebied, fiets in de omgeving, golf in Westwoud of verken VOC havenstadjes Hoorn en Enkhuizen. Bushalte en parkeren voor de deur. 30 min. van Amsterdam. Gezellig restaurant op 100m. Ontbijt regelen wij op de 1e dag!

Experience how it feels to live in a typical dutch (Holland) village! We, Peter and Lia, live here for about 25 years with our family. We are carpenters and we sell our handmade furniture in our own small shop at our property. We made our guesthouse "De Gortla". We love to travel and be in our garden (as you can see). We know how it is to experience someone else's habitat. We very much appreciate this hospitality from the people we visit on our travels and love to share ours with you.

Direct aan vaarwater verhuren wij een knus huisje met keuken, boxspring bed, badkamer en sauna. Fantastisch uitzicht over landerijen en natuurgebied Egboetswater. Breng een bezoek aan historische stadjes Enkhuizen, Hoorn en Medemblik. Op 40 auto minuten van Amsterdam, een uur rijden naar Texel, 40 autominuten van de Noord Hollandse kust. Heerlijke omgeving om te fietsen en wandelen. Viswater voor de deur. De accommodatie heeft een eigen toegang, dus voor u alle privacy.

Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

The house is totally renovated. The garden is on the waterfront and the view is amazing! It's located on the best spot in Town. Just a 1 min walk to the famous harbour of Hoorn, and the historic city center is just a 3 min walk away. There you find the central square 'de Roode Steen' with all the bars and cosy restaurants.
