Welcome to La Malagueña, a getaway that will enthrall your senses and nurture your spirit. Our place is ideal for the seasoned traveler who prefers the comforts of home combined with the uniqueness of a true Mexican experience. Our home was originally built in the 18th century and has been remodeled several times, the last time by the renowned Mexican artist, Juan Ibañez. Its construction is of stone and pine with copper accents. It takes advantage of the Mexican sun and sky and its position on the most beautiful square in Guanajuato - with French doors opening onto the fountain below and a wonderful rooftop garden in which you can sit and while away the time, above it all. The house is in the heart of town. You can comfortably walk to almost any place you'd like to visit. It is close to the Jardin Union, the Teatro Juarez & the Teatro Principal, the University of Guanajuato, the Basilica, the Mercado Hidalgo, the Alhondiga and most museums, language schools, restaurants, cafes, and bars. You will not only enjoy the comfort, style and location of our place but also the hospitality of our staff. ¡BIENVENIDOS!
